I'd like to thank Will and Shaina for allowing me an awesome opportunity to be involved with Dial It In Track Time. Congratulations to both of you on your endeavor in starting a Track Day organization and making your dreams a reality.
My passion and enthusiasm for riding motorcycles started in 1988, back east in Leominster, Massachusetts. It was there I first learned how to ride, obtained a license, and then bought a Yamaha Enduro streetbike for $400. I loved the carefree feeling of freedom I experienced during the weekends, riding and traveling throughout the many scenic highways of Massachusetts.
Fast forward to 2000 when I bought my first sportbike in California. I still loved riding either by myself or with friends but I hadn't yet experienced a race track. My first track day was with Keith Code's California Superbike School at the Streets of Willow. From then on I was completely hooked. What better way to ride more often on the track than to actually go racing. I met Gregg Spears and bought his team's SV650 back up bike, and with much appreciated guidance and advice from him I started racing in 2001 with AFM and later also joined CCS.
From racing I've enjoyed meeting people who share the same passion and enthusiasm about riding as I do. I've gained valuable track time experience and learned to sharpen my skills as a racer. Dial It In Track Time gives me the opportunity to share these experiences with those new to the track.
